My chicken cordon blue panini was rather on the small side but it filled me up. I had a side salad with it. The taste however was a little off. It wasn't overpowering with anything in particular but it left a sour taste in my mouth. Also the filling (chicken, ham) was very thin. Not what I was expecting.

I have been in State College the last few weeks for work and we have lunch from Fraser Street Deli at least once a week! The quality of ingredients is very high - we are always very happy after dining here.

Reuben paninis, oh heaven. Extra sauerkraut would be even more perfect. Thank you!

Incredible food. Definitely worth the price. Even if ordering delivery, Pataki Reuben still came warm and in one piece without everything falling apart of the bread soaked. Very casual environment

Ordered the breakfast panini with turkey meat and buffalo sauce. One word: DELICIOUS. Great portions for the price. Quality ingredients and it's still very inexpensive. Attentive and friendly staff all working together providing great service. The only downside to eating here is that it is such a TINY place you will have to wait to be seated. Overall great find in downtown for a quick, cheap, and tasty breakfast/lunch.

Sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. Huge selection of options all named after PSU athletes. Good quality and also have gluten free options. When I say options I mean real options not the standard wr will wrap your sandwich on lettuce or you can just order a basic salad.

This deli seemed iffy the moment I walked in. I came here on the Friday of Artsfest weekend in the early afternoon with a group of 8. There were about 10 employees standing around in the kitchen that stared/glared at us when we walked into the nearly empty restaurant. Weird. Our waitress made a big deal about pushing two tables together. Also weird, since there were so many open tables. And you would have thought our simple meals would have been ready quickly based on the number of employees working, yet we had to wait quite a while for the food. On the bright side, our waitress was good about refilling our waters and got all the orders right. I ordered an egg salad sandwich and chose a caesar salad as my small side. The egg salad had no flavor whatsoever (not even salty) and the salad dressing was gross and tasted like something one might find on an airplane. I came in very hungry yet left half of my meal untouched because it was so unappetizing. My friends were mostly unsatisfied too, due to the small size of their sandwiches and the high prices (about $10 each). Save your money for a bigger and better meal elsewhere.

I walked in to order a sandwich "to go" and then decided I'd rather sit inside the restaurant to eat my meal, which was completely empty mind you, and I was told since I ordered it to go I was unable to take a seat and eat my meal. The food was WAY OVERPRICED and was DISGUSTING. The gentleman who greeted me was very rude and was rude to a customer that called over the phone as well. I have a hunch it may have been a manager or someone with some kind of power, if that is the case they need to fire him ASAP and the owner needs to change the rule that does not allow customers to sit down and eat the meal that they just purchased. How do you call yourself a restaurant when your customers can't sit and eat said meal? It tasted like paper and my meal ended up being around $15 for a Panini meal. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN AND WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS. Keep in mind I am not the kind of person that ever writes reviews on restaurants in fact this is my first, but this horrible service could not go without letting the world know. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE!

LISTEN. people who are giving this a 5 out of 5 were clearly paid off to do so. The food is good. the size of the meals are TINNNYY like omg so small, not worth it at all for the price. Listen, if ur a college student DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT order from here. not worth it at all. their subs are like 5 inches long. side of mac n cheese is like 3 bucks and its the size of a shot glass. stop.. go order somewhere else.. ull thank me later

Quality ingredients but very small sandwiches and sides I had a pastarmi and corned beef with coleslaw and after I finished it I went to Subway and ate a 6 inch sub It is rather expensive for the amount of meat on the sandwich( they do use Boar Heads) Clean little shop with not a lot of seating but has never been packed when I walk by

I really wish this place was better. It's not that its bad food, you just dont get a lot of it for your money. The sandwiches are tasty, the sides are yummy, and the atmosphere is nice. Plus, the Menu is made up of Penn State greats (I ordered the Paul Posluszny) which makes it a fun & local experience. That being said, the sandwichs are pretty small and the sides are TINY. Like, I mean really really small. I ordered a side of mac and cheese with my sandwich and maybe got two spoon fulls. I ate my side of mac and cheese in two bites and really wanted more! Also, the sandwiches aren't cheap. I paid $7.50 for a ruben, pickle, and small bag of chips. If the sandwich was a regular size that would be totally cool, but its a small sandwich and just not very filling. TL/DR: Good food but pricey.

One of the best places to eat in State College. Great location, even better food. It wins awards practically every year for their amazing sandwiches. (I really like their salads too-- huge portions for a reasonable price!)

Food was good! The manager's attitude was horrendous. While waiting for food he completely degraded his staff. Screaming and cursing at them for minor issues. While he was polite to his customers I cannot support an establishment that reinforces that kind of behavior.

I hate to say it, but a lot of eateries in State College have been going downhill lately. When I came into Frasier St my freshman year, it was one of the best deli meals I'd had in the area. Upon my revisit, something happened during that 4 year span. My reuben was barely warm and somehow took upwards of 25 minutes to make in an empty restaurant and looked as if I should've gone down the street, bought the ingredients myself, and made it. The potato salad was slices, not chunks, coated in some runny dressing thinned down I could only assume. Considering Frasier St prides itself on being one of the few delis in SC, the food was overall lacking and sad. I hope it makes a turnaround, since I do love good potato salad.

I don't see why people love it here. I've been here so many times because it's close to Hammond. I have never once been satisfied. The sandwiches are all expensive but made real cheap. There is hardly any meat on them. Everything is named after some famous Penn Stater which is cute but annoying when there are so many sandwiches. I have to read each sandwich description just to find out that a lot of the sandwiches are the same except with one little difference. It seems like they just want to have a big menu so they list one sandwich multiple times with one substitution. This wouldn't bother me so much if the food was actually good. Nothing is special, just bland and the portions are incredibly small. I'm sad Dee's Deli closed 2 years ago. That was the only good sandwich place in town.

This is a nice little sit-down deli. The sandwiches and service are good. The food is a bit pricy for the quality, but the charm from the Penn State decor and sandwiches named for various Penn State legends makes up for that somewhat.

The food here is great. As mentioned, they use Boar's Head. After you eat a meal here, you feel like you ate great quality. You feel satisfied and not sluggish like how some greasy food might make you feel. The restaurant is small, but that's how a deli should be. Great digs.

Finally, a decent deli in State College that doesn't have a tie to a franchise. But is it good? Yes, thankfully. The sandwiches they sell are well portioned, use Boar's Head meats (yes, it matters) and are served on fresh breads. They make quite a few sandwiches, and their website lists their full menu. Sides are good as well - one of the few places that has good cole slaw around here. Their breakfasts on the other hand...... are good, aside from some abysmal coffee. But I am very picky. There's not a huge selection, so don't go there looking for a 4 egg omelet with a side of arrogance. But what is offered is made well, and served hot. I've eaten here a few times now, and aside from some questionable waitstaff service (read - lazy) I've got didley to complain about. As others have mentioned, it is quite small inside but not claustrophobic. But its petite size fits what I consider to be a mom-and-pop deli. Definitely on my short list of places to eat at.

He says: Been here twice. It's a slightly above average sandwich joint. The selections all sound very good. As far as taste, one sandwich was a 4-star, the other a 2-star (a roast beef hot sandwich on rye). I would go back there again just to try the different options. In State College, true sandwich joints are limited so that it gives this place a little edge. She says: Been here twice as well (I'm the local). I tried one of the turkey paninis today -- it was tasty, and it was nice to have something that wasn't greasy and on a yummy ciabatta bread, but it lacked a certain punch (especially on the account of the very thin layers of meat and cheese -- I prefer more meaty sandwiches). I don't think I could really afford to eat here regularly on my budget, but for an occasional sampling, this place might be okay.

Great for lunch, but come early since they fill up fast and they don't have tons of seating. The service is fast and friendly. Their menu has good vegetarian selections.

Go to Panera or somewhere else. This place is too small for a restaurant setting. Right as you enter, there is a sign that says "Please wait to be seated" and it's like the size of a bedroom. Really?? It's a sandwich shop.
